I always like the products of LG or Samsung as they are with in the range of maximum people. But it all depends on your personal experience. Choosing a brand in Lcd Tv is somewhat difficult. Sony products are not for everyone because they are as usual costly
My preferrence choice will be

- Sharp
- Onida Lcd
- Benq
- Hitachi
Purchase lcd tv of kenstar, hyundai or some other brands at your own risk.

Lg and Samung are the best. Philips is a joke. Sharp is still good but not like the top 2.

Pls do not ever buy Phillip TV … I bought TV set paying 20 K four years ago and it has started giving problem. I lodged complaint with their service centre, I get inept service engineer who takes another Rs2500 to replace apart ….problem still continues. He promises that he would get his senior engineer to correct …nothing happens…. we lodge compalint again … same gentalman arrives (think they run one man army) messes up set completely …now it is ablsoulutely not opearble and then again promises senior enginerr ….none avaialbel (am not sure they even hire one vs v vis dwindling sale of their products) …so after one and half month of reporting problem ….no end in sight ….never ever buy Philiips product….i agree phillips is joke …..disgrace rather
