I feel glad when i read the name of this phone that’s  HTC Hero – Its name is trully indian because indian people can easilly remember this hero name. HTC Hero would provide a free data download of 100 MB per month for six months for the Airtel subscribers.

HTC Anroid based operating System mobile handset in India is available at the price tag of Rupees 31,990.

Sensex crosses 16,000 after 15 months – India Sensex News

Share holders now has reason to celebrate because Sensex today crosses the 16,000-mark after a gap of 15 months. Strong global cues, including encouraging words after the meeting of G20 ministers, and robust foreign fund inflows helped the BSE sensex rally to its 15-month closing high on Monday. Following a strong US market closing on Friday, the index opened higher and gained through the day to close above 16K mark after over 15 months, at 16,016, up 327 points. At 4,783, NSE nifty too is at a new 15-month closing high.

Among the sensex stocks, Tata Motors rallied over 11% to Rs 566. Among other top gainers were Reliance Communications, up 6.6% to Rs 312, ICICI Bank, up 6% at Rs 789. Among the 30 sensex stocks, there were only two losers — ITC and M&M.

3.2-inch touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard built into its 14.2mm thin frame.

8GB of storage which can be expanded to 24GB with the addition of a 16GB microSD card. The mini will run the Symbian S60 OS like just its predecessor.

5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and video light. There is a 4 digital zoom. The camera packs Carl Zeiss Tessar lens.

12 days standby time and up to 28 hours music playback. It supports video playback up to 210 minutes.

Connectivity options include WLAN IEEE 802.11b/g, microUSB connector, Hi-Speed USB 2.0, 3.5mm stereo headphone plug and TV-out support (PAL/NTSC).

The phone has Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo audio, enhanced data rates (EDR) GPS receiver with support for assisted GPS (A-GPS).

Nokia N97 mini will be Nokia’s first device to feature Lifecasting with Ovi — a new partnership with the world’s most popular social network, Facebook. Lifecasting enables users to update their Facebook status directly from the phone’s homescreen.

N97 mini supports Ovi Store where users can add new applications, widgets, ringtones and other content to the phone. It also packs Ovi Maps and comes with integrated A-GPS and compass along with voice navigation for driving or walking.
