Kurbaan movie Review: Kurbaan will show you the real face of global terrorism.The story of Kurbaan is somewhat similar to the story of this year released New York and previously Fanna but still this movie is impressing. and totally different. All the star cast of Kurbaan has done a wonderful job.It is one of the most powerful film to come out of the Bollywood this year 2009.
Kurbaan story plot :
Avantika (Kareena Kapoor) is a teacher at a university in Delhi where she meets a Professor Ehsaan Khan (Saif Ali Khan). Soon, they fall in love and get married.Then they go to New York. One day their Muslim neighbours invite them for dinner. The next morning, Salma (Nauheed Cyrusi), one of the women Avantika met the night before at the dinner, visits her under the pretext of gifting her sweets.
When Avantika invites her in, Salma tells her that she is in grave danger. Nothing is what it seems. Salma pleads with Avantika to help her. What follows next is a series of incidents that sucks Avantika into a vortex of danger and intrigue. As her life spirals out of control, Avantika realises that she is a pawn in a huge gam. Avantika is kept under house arrest. Sooner Avantika also finds out that Ekaaksh plans to hijack a flight and one of the passengers on that flight is Ritesh (Vivek Oberoi), a journalist.

Bravo! You’re one of the few Indian producers trying to make movies with more content rather than overdose us with musical numbers that have little to do with the story. I love Hindi films but the dance numbers are waaaaay too much for today’s times. You know what you’re doing Karan, don’t get side lined by single minded critisisims.I hope this a blockbuster for you.Although I am an American still sensitive to terrorist films, I trust yours to be politically correct and I can’t wait for MNIK.
