BSNL 24 Mbps broadband tariff plans – BSNL fastest broadband in India now

Good news for internet customers who are longing for faster broadband connections. BSNL introduces the fastest broadband internet connection in India at the speed of 24mbps breaking the 16 Mbps record of Bharti Airtel.But at present this opportunity cannot be availed by all.  Currently the services of 16 Mbps and 24 Mbps will be accessible depending on the distance of the customer’s office/dwelling from that of BSNLs exchange.  24 Mbps speed will be available to customers stationed within 500 meters from BSNLs exchange, whereas the 16 Mbps speed will be available within 1 km radius.  These services will be available at a price range of Rs 9,999 (24 Mbps) and of Rs 4,999 (16 Mbps) respectively. “All good things come with a price tag”.

Paypal become problem for indian users – paypal reversal transactions probs

In the last 3-4 days people facing the reversal transactions from paypal including me  if the transactions were selected as personal payments. It menas Indian Paypal users will no longer be able to send or receive personal payments from Paypal. No official announcements from Paypal regarding this issue . My infolinks payment got reversed today and i do not know is infolinks offer the pay by cheque method.

The mail i got from paypal :

Hello name,

Your payment of  $$$ has been sent back to the sender of the payment.

We reversed this payment because we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India.

If this was a payment for a purchase of goods or services, and not a personal payment, then you may contact the buyer and have him or her resend the payment as follows:  (a) click the Send Money tab, (b) select “Goods,” and (c) provide a shipping address.

If this payment was a personal payment such as a gift, then we have requested that the sender find another payment method until we restore personal payments to and from India.

We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.

In order to get the reversed transaction amount back to your Paypal account, you need to contact the sender again and request him/them to issue the payment again by following the below steps :

* Click the Send Money tab
* Select Goods
* Provide a shipping address
* Send the money.

Only god knows when the issue will be resolved.

Bsnl 3g service in kerala – Bsnl 3g tariff plans in kerala

BSNL ( Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) launched its 3G service in Kerala today. 3G will cover the distance of 30 km from the city. With the 3G network , you can make video calls, access the internet with speed up to 3.6 Mbps, watch live TV on mobile handsets and download contents. The data transfer speed is 10 times better than the current system.
In this project BSNL has invested Rs 650 crore and in the first phase of the launch Calicut and Kannur will be covered.Only 37,000 3G connections will be allotted in the first phase. The activation can be done within 2 days after the application. 21 cities covering all the district headquarters in Kerala Circle were being provided with the latest 3.5G technology-based coverage.Bsnl 3g

The current project will provide 2.55 lakh 3G lines in the Circle, including 37,758 lines in Kozhikode city and suburban areas and 1,469 lines in Kalpetta. More than 100 base stations are being set up in Kozhikode SSA for the purpose.

• Video calls can be done at 30 paise/min.

• A recharge of 120 Rs can provide 6 months validity with 20 Rs usage.

• 50 free video calls and 25 MB internet usage.

The existing users can shift to 3G without changing the number. The prepaid customers can switch to 3G without any charges and postpaid users with a charge of 25 Rs.

Mozilla Firefox Browser for Mobile phones – Get ready for firefox mobile browsing

Mozilla Firefox which is known for its web browser soon to launch a browser for mobile phones till 2010.

It will compete with its rival companies like Opera Mini, Safari, Chrome, Nokia, Netfront and Internet Explorer for Mobile.

Opera is the leader with 63% market share on mobiles,and then is Nokia with 26% share.Firefox mobile is expected to be available for most open environments like Android, Nokia’s Maemo, Symbian and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile.

The tie-up claims that the new services is supported by a zero maintenance access device and is easy to Plug and Play at home or office. It is an “Obsolescence-proof computing service” says the alliance.

“The services include comprehensive computing experience with special emphasis on internet, gaming, digital entertainment, online education, telephony and business productivity,” said Alok Singh, CEO, Novatium Solution Systems.
