Mahindra & Mahindra will launch a approx one tonne light commercial vehicle (LCV) named Maxximo during the Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi.The brand name Maxximo promise of delivering more –maximum at its core. The name ‘Maxximo’ also signifies the vehicle’s futuristic and advanced feel. ‘Maxximo’, delivers a superior performance, style and fuel efficiency.
Pawan Goenka, president, M&M, said: “This segment has posted 27 per cent growth. Just one player has 90 per cent share in the market. Our estimate is that it will grow at 15-20 per cent over three-four years. We would like to be a major player in this segment which has the potential to grow even further.”
Features
- Maximmo will use advanced diesel engine technology and will be powered by 2 cylinder, 900cc, direct injection m_Hawk engine.
- It will develop 25bhp of peak power (approximately) at 3600rpm and 55Nm of maximum torque.
- The cabin design is ergonomical and the driver as well as the passengers can sit comfortably even for long journeys.”
