After the success of tata indigo, Tata Motors has launched its new entry-level sedan, the Indigo e-CS based on the Indigo platform – the Indigo CS . Tata claims the e-CS as the most fuel efficient sedan in India, with an ARAI certified fuel efficiency figure (mileage) of 23.03 kmpl out of the new 1.4-litre common rail diesel engine. The car will also be available with 1.2-litre petrol engine. Both the new engines are BSIV complaint and hence can be used around the country, including the 13 major cities which recently shifted to the new emission regulations.
